The New Alexandra Theatre, commonly known as The Alex, is a theatre on Station Street in Birmingham, Construction of the theatre commenced in 1900 and was completed in 1901.

Car parking couldn’t be easier. The Holloway/Albany Car Park is less than a minute away. The New Alexandra Theatre has joined with NCP to offer a pre-paid parking voucher at the Holloway/Albany car park. Simply visit our Box Office before the show and purchase a voucher that will allow you to elminate the need to queue for the pay machine at the end of the evening. Vouchers are available up to 6 months in advance of the show until 7pm on the performance night and are priced at the discounted rate of £6.00, saving at least £1.20. Inter City services run from all major towns and cities, including hourly services from London, into Birmingham New Street, which is situated around a 3min walk to the Theatre.

By Bus

Birmingham International has is a rail link directly into Birmingham New Street, only a three minute walk to the Alexandra Theatre.
